Still Confusion Over Eli Stone Finale
I’ve been scouring the Net daily for any glimmers of news on the remaining episodes of the canceled series Eli Stone. ABCs main web page for the show has an embedded video with scenes from the last aired episode and a countdown that puts a new episode of Eli Stone on next Thursday. Alas, the posted TV schedules online do not corroborate the countdown. A helpful soul on ABCs Eli Stone messageboard said they’d noticed similar countdowns for other canceled shows like Pushing Daisies and Dirty, Sexy Money–and conjectured that the vids were merely on a rotating 15 day countdown that was basically meaningless. Great.
Zap2it’s TV Gal confirmed today that ABC plans to air the remaining episodes of Eli Stone but that it’s possible they won’t show up until summer. She admitted that the networks change their minds daily, so there really, thus far, is no way to know when we’ll get that Eli Stone fiinale we’re all craving. ABC promised the fans closure–I guess they just forgot to specify when we’d actually get that closure.
